In December, Nutcrackers hatch like magic in Chicago. Does Chicago need one more? You bet! With a Clara over 70, and living in a senior living arrangement. "Nutcracker Manor," conceived, choreographed and directed by former Joffrey Ballet dancer Lynne Chervony Belsky,  turns the traditional story on its ear with a Clara who is a grandma, and a cast of snowflakes and flowers many or whom are over 50! There are professional guest artists as well as a multigenerational cast including mature dancers from Belsky's "Time To Dance" ballet classes, faculty and students from owner/director Lisa Gold's North Shore School of Dance. "Extra's" include generous volunteers, family, and friends from all walks of life.

One performance only will take place from 4-5:30 ,

artist's talk-back from 5:30-6

Sunday, December 6th

Cressy Center for the Arts, Lake Forest Academy, 1500 West Kennedy Road; Lake Forest. (847) 615-3210.
